Primitif Palace is a project about living habits. It connects the ideas of domestic objects and cinematographical fantasies. This project is about primitive instincts still existing in current behaviors — eating, drinking, having sex — and standard confort. Our texts, graphisms and objects aim to build an area suitable to decadence and transgression. Primitif Palace suggests the possibility of industrial sensuality. It plays around poor and posh standards, natural and industrial aesthetics. It’s a big up to Georges Bataille.
Primitif Palace is also the start of a group production. L’amicale is a studio-like crew I founded with five friends: Clara Bitton, Laure Dubreuil, Florent Jullien, Hugo Kreit, Johanna Lapray et Hugo L’ahelec.
